Challenge Encountered

During integration, the power bank’s main MCU had limited RGB interface driving capability, causing screen flickering and unstable data display when battery voltage dropped below 3.5V. The display also showed ghosting during fast data updates.


Solution

Goldenvision’s engineering team worked with VoltaCore to:

  1. Adjust the RGB timing parameters in the AXS15231B driver IC initialization sequence.

  2. Add a dedicated 3.3V LDO regulator to stabilize the display power supply, independent of battery voltage fluctuations.

  3. Optimize the MCU’s frame rate to match the display’s recommended refresh timing.

After two rounds of debugging, flickering and ghosting were completely eliminated, even under extreme low-battery conditions.
